CAPSTONE XXIII: THE CHRISTIAN'S ROLE IN CULTURE AND PUBLIC POLICY

Capstone encourages Christians to take an active role in culture and public policy. It begins with a review of the Biblical basis for citizen action. It then examines the growing cultural threats to our faith, family, and freedom, and reasons why we must speak out. Finally, it offers effective ways to counter these threats and to fulfill our Biblical mandate to be salt and light to our world. It includes a study of key issues and inspiring models for making a difference, drawing on materials from Focus on the Family.

β€œIt is in the man of piety and inward principle, that we may expect to find the uncorrupted patriot, the useful citizen, and the invincible soldier.  God grant that in America true religion and civil liberty may be inseparable.”
